Obama bent on destroying our traditional values

To the editor:

“Divide and conquer” this term has been widely used recently to describe the current trend that we are experiencing in the United States and around the world. President Obama has been trained to do just that and has been doing it to perfection and has been very successful in his desire to destroy our great country as we know it.

We are well on the road to socialism and communism, and the scary part of the whole thing is that Obama believes that he is right and is committed to completing his goal. .

This has been accomplished by confusing the general public as to what his objectives are and convincing many that change is necessary to save our country from the corrupt capitalistic system, and that God and the Constitution are no longer relevant in our modern society.

And also, the expansion of big government that will take care of all the needs of all the people who deserve it or not and do so on the backs of the taxpayers, who are slowly being diminished by increased taxes, fees and cost of living. All of which does not affect our do-nothing politicians with all their benefits and pensions, which are far greater than those of the taxpayers who continue to retain them in office.

Let us mention the economy, which is stifled by rules, regulations and the tremendous amount of importing of consumer products, which should return to domestic manufacturing by making our system more competitive in the world market, unions please take notice. Millions of workers unemployed and millions of jobs unfilled, either due to unqualified workers or just not willing to take the jobs because our welfare system is in competition with the companies, and if this continues our economy will never recover.

Last but not least, the corruption and waste in all levels of government are totally out of control. Washington politicians should be paying for their medical coverage like everyone else and reverse all wage increases they vote for themselves behind closed doors. Government employees should not be paid above and beyond the national average; pensions should be reduced to a more reasonable level. And how many appointed jobs have gone to unqualified, overpaid individuals, many of whom never even work, or show up and do nothing.

The bases of our success here in the United States have been trust in God, family, education and hard work. Thanks to our present administration, they are all but totally destroyed

In spite of all the negative aspects that exist in our country and the world today, I am still optimistic that a miracle will occur and restore our great country to its original values as expressed in our Constitution, so help us God.

So, you politicians in Washington, do what is right for the country and not for yourself and your party or you all should be fired.
