---- — Awards season continues this week with the Oscars, “Premio Lo Nuestro” and the “Independent Spirit Awards.” Meanwhile, Syfy airs a new original movie, and that reminds me — three words you’ll never hear on any awards show, ever, are “Syfy original movie.” Here’s what to watch and what to avoid on television this week:

Monday

“The Food Hospital,” 9 p.m., Cook: Put me in ICU — the ice cream unit.

“Inside Comedy,” 11 p.m., Showtime: Comic/writer Tina Fey and writer/director Judd Apatow guest.

Tuesday

“Cult,” 9 p.m., CW: Fans of a TV series about a fictional cult get a little too into it — sort of like fans of Oprah.

“Body of Proof,” 10 p.m., ABC: Megan’s back for a third season, and she’s after a serial killer who’s holding her daughter captive.

Wednesday

“Criminal Minds,”9 p.m., CBS: In Austin, the crew finds that murder victims’ watches all show the wrong time. And they’re all probably wearing hats and ironic T-shirts, too.

“Top Chef,” 9 p.m., Bravo: Part one of the season finale airs.

“My Strange Addiction,” 10 p.m., TLC: A subject’s been eating sand for five years. I wonder if that was the main course or the desert — I mean, uh, “dessert.”

“Necessary Roughness,” 10 p.m., USA: Season 2 concludes tonight.

“The Americans,” 10 p.m. FX: The American agents wonder if the Russians are behind the attempted Reagan assassination.

Thursday

“Extreme Couponing,” 7 p.m., DFH: Tonight’s second-season opener was supposed to be an hour long, but they got 50 percent off.

“Premio Lo Nuestro,”8 p.m., Univision: The 25th annual awards show celebrates the best in Latin music.

“Community,” 8 p.m., NBC: Abed makes a new friend at an “Inspector Spacetime” fan convention

Friday

“CSI: NY,” 9 p.m., CBS: Season 9 wraps up tonight.

“Out There,” 10:30 p.m., IFC: Pam Adlon, Fred Armisen and Linda Cardellini provide voice work on this new, animated, coming-of-age comedy.

Saturday

“End of the World,” 9 p.m., Syfy: A pair of science-fiction nerd video store clerks (Brad Dourif, Greg Grunberg) try to save the world in this Syfy original.

“2013 Film Independent Spirit Awards,” 10 p.m., IFC: Former “Saturday Night Live” star Andy Samberg wears his digital shorts to the stage as host of this annual celebration of independent film.

Sunday

“The Oscars Red Carpet Live,” 7 p.m., ABC: Who am I wearing? Well, my dog’s on the couch with me, and he has his head draped over my ankles. Does thatcount?

“85th Annual Academy Awards,” 8:30 p.m., ABC: How far into the broadcast before first-time host and “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane breaks into a nervous Stewie voice? Barbra Streisand, Adele and Norah Jones perform.
