Hi to ‘The Little Prince of Pop’

Aaron Carter performed during a Backstreet Boys’ concert in Berlin, Germany, and was instantly discovered in 1997. After the concert, he was offered a record contract on the spot by an Edel Record Company executive who saw him perform. In the fall of 1997, he released his first single, “Crush On You.”

Concert-goers, and undoubtedly a slew of teen fans, will have a chance to hear this young idol live when he takes the stage at the Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry Saturday, March 2, at 7 p.m.

Since his debut, Carter has opened for Britney Spears on the U.S. leg of her 2000 world tour, and has made numerous hugely popular appearances on TV networks and shows including Disney, Nickelodeon, Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, and “Rosie O’Donnell.”

Has all the fame and fortune changed Aaron Carter? His promoters say no. “He’s the same loveable kid he’s always been. Asked what makes him the most happy, he responds, ‘Making my fans and family happy, and having fun!’”
