Goat cheese and cranberry are a great match that make a surprisingly delicious dessert.
All you need for this dessert, besides the ingredients, is something out of your grandmother’s pantry: an apple core peeler. This sometimes forgotten invention dates back to the 19th century and is making a resurgence, especially during apple pie season. But don’t think that this handy little device has only one purpose, because it is a fantastic simple dessert maker. To this dish, the cone-like slices that the apple core peeler makes are the key. They add delicacy to the taste.
When cakes and cookies are in full bloom, it’s nice to reach for a dessert that satisfies your sweet tooth, but is not too filling. Enter the Apple with Cranberry Sauce and Goat Cheese Dessert.
