Fourteen-year-old Tyler knows everyone is supposed to be happy at this time of year. But it's hard for this teen as this marks the third year in a row that his mother has been out of work. Money is very tight for his family of six.

"And, now, she argues more with my dad and it's always about money," the Lawrence teen wrote in a letter to The Eagle-Tribune Santa Fund. "But, I'm really writing for Joey, my little brother. He's 7 and I just hope he gets something."

Tyler also has a younger sister, who is 4, and a big sister, who is 16.

"All I really want is for Christmas to be like it used to be. That spirit. That's what I want," he wrote.
