NORTH ANDOVER – A man from Maine allegedly pulled up a stop sign at Academy Road and Osgood Street late Monday night or early Tuesday morning, police said.
Patrolman Jason Wedge saw a pickup truck with a stop sign in the back near 300 Pleasant St., according to Lt. Charles Gray. Wedge stopped the pickup truck and investigation revealed the sign had been stolen from Academy Road and Osgood Street, Gray said.
Joseph Drapeau, 21, of 8 Huff Corner Road, Wellington, Maine, was arrested at 12:28 a.m. Tuesday and charged with larceny over $250.
A couple of hours later, neighbors reported a couple of loud youths at Greene Street and Waverly Road. Sgt. Daniel Lanen went to the scene and arrested the two youths.
Dylan Silver, 17, of 8 Emerson Court, was charged with disorderly conduct. Jeremy Carr, 17, of 28 Water St., was charged with possession of a dangerous weapon, a long knife, Gray said.
