---- — METHUEN — A shoplifter pulled a pocket knife on a Rite Aid store manager Tuesday afternoon, police said.
The incident occurred at 12:59 p.m. at 256 Pleasant Street.
The store manager reported a male carrying a white plastic bag sounded the alarm as he left the store. When the manager followed the man into the parking lot, the man turned around and pulled out a small pocket knife, according to police.
