EDUCATION: B.A. in political science from Tufts University, 1980; J.D. from Boston College Law School, 1983.

CAREER: Winslow began his career practicing law at firm of Sherdin Lodgen, 1983-1995. He was appointed in 1995 by then-Gov. William Weld to serve as a judge in the state’s district court system. Winslow left the bench in 2003 to serve as chief legal counsel to then-Gov. Mitt Romney. In 2005, he left the Romney administration and returned to private practice with the firm of Duane Morris. Winslow served as legal counsel to Republican Scott Brown during Brown’s successful special election campaign for the U.S. Senate in 2010. In November 2010, Winslow was elected to the state House of Representatives from the 9th Norfolk District. He was re-elected to the House in 2012, and serves on the Judiciary, State Administration and Regulatory Oversight, and Rules committees. When he announced his Senate bid, he resigned from the Proskauer Rose law firm, where he had served as senior counsel since 2010.

FAMILY: Lives in Norfolk with his wife, Susan, and three children.
