If convicted, Nystrom faces up to 20 years in prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release and a $250,000 fine on each count.

U.S. Attorney Carmen M. Ortiz; Glenn A. Cunha, Inspector General of Massachusetts; John Collins, Special Agent in Charge of the Internal Revenue Service’s Criminal Investigation in Boston; Vincent Lisi, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, made the announcement. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Diane C. Freniere and Andrew Lelling.
