Three hospitalized after pickup truck hits CVS

Three people were injured when a pickup truck struck the CVS Pharmacy at 115 Main St. in North Andover yesterday afternoon. The truck went over the curbing in front of the store and crashed into an exterior wall, according to Lt. Charles Gray, spokesman for the North Andover Police Department.

The three victims, the driver and two people who were in the store, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Lawrence General Hospital, Gray said. "We are still gathering information," Gray said when asked how the truck went from the parking lot and into the wall. Officer Eric Sewade is investigating the accident, which was reported at 2:45 p.m.
