Police arrest four alleged heroin peddlers on Marston Street

When Hodgson crossed over the double yellow lines on Marston Street, police in an unmarked vehicle put on the flashing blue lights and stopped her.

Officers found a large plastic sandwich bag containing five "fingers" – small bags – each filled with about 10 grams of a brown powdery substance they knew was heroin, according to Purpora's report.

Driscoll admitted paying $1,600 for the heroin and said he buys it in large quantities because he sells it to support his own drug habit, Purpora wrote.

Residents who see activity that appears to be related to illegal drugs are encouraged to call the Lawrence Police Drug Hotline at 978-794-5907.
