RAYMOND — An 18-year-old Raymond woman died after being ejected from her Ford Explorer in a rollover crash on Route 27 early yesterday.
Town police said they found alcohol inside the wrecked SUV and continue to investigate whether alcohol and speed contributed to the accident.
Police identified the victim as Leeann Bergeron, a recent Raymond High School graduate. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to investigators.
Another 18-year-old passenger remains in the hospital. A third passenger fled the scene prior to police arriving. Police said both passengers were also ejected from the SUV
Raymond police, fire and ambulance responded to the accident near Riverbend Condo’s at 1:16 a.m.
