2 pedestrians struck by cars

---- — Pedestrians were struck by vehicles in two separate incidents yesterday.

In Lawrence, State police say a male juvenile pedestrian was struck by car while walking across the entrance ramp from Route 114 to Interstate 495 North.

The youth was taken to Lawrence General Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries, according to police.

And in Andover, a 16-year-old Andover High School student was hit by a truck while walking near 97 Red Spring Road at 2:20 p.m.

He was being treated for injuries at Lawrence General Hospital. Andover police would not release other details or the condition of the injured boy.
