Landlords Guild meets today

HAVERHILL — The Haverhill Landlords Guild will meet today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sons of Italy, Victor Emanuel Lodge, 124 Washington St. Topics of discussion include the current rental market and sharing ideas and experience. Stephanie Yang of the Credit Bureau Associates Northeast will speak on using reports to screen tenants and on posting unpaid rents, eviction search. All landlords, property managers or those who might someday like to own income producing property are invited to attend. You do not have to be a member of the Landlords Guild to attend. Northpoint Bible College to present musical on Thursday

HAVERHILL — Northpoint Bible College, formerly Zion Bible College, will present its first full-length production, “Esther: the Musical,” Thursday, Feb. 28 at the Northpoint Bible College Fine Arts Center, 320 South Main St., Bradford. The show is at 6:30 p.m. and admission is free. More information is available by calling 978-478-3400.

Academy Jazz Band performs March 10

ANDOVER — On March 10, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. the Phillips Academy Music Department will present the Academy Jazz Band and ensembles performing the music of Duke Ellington, George & Ira Gershwin, Matt Harris, Bob Mintzer and Dizzy Gillespie.

The concert, free of charge and open to the public, and will take place in Cochran Chapel located on the Phillips Academy campus, 180 Main St., Andover.

Indoor flea market takes place Saturday

HAVERHILL — The Ladies Philoptochos Society Elpis will hold an indoor flea market on Saturday at the Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church, 154 Winter St. Doors open at 9 a.m and close at 3 p.m. Items available for purchase include furniture, clothing, glassware, books, jewelry, knick-knacks and other bargains. Greek pastry will be for sale along with refreshments. Tables are available for rent and can be reserved by calling 978-374-8887 or 978-373-3311. The Ladies Philoptochos Society Elpis is a nonprofit organization of the church. Proceeds from this event support various charities.
