---- — LAWRENCE - A 26-year-old man wanted for a murder in Connecticut last June was arrested yesterday on Morton Street.

Doel Francisco Candelario, 26, of 69 Babcock St., 31, Hartford, was arrested and charged on a fugitive warrant for murder at 10:34 a.m., police said.

Candelario is accused of killing Jimmy Narvaez-Gonzalez of New Britain, Conn. on June 20, 2012.

A .22 caliber firearm used in the murder has still not been recovered, according to a press release from the Hartford Police major crimes unit.

Lawrence detectives, officers from the Essex County Sheriff’s Department and the U.S. Marshal’s Service arrested Candelario after he arrived at 22 Morton St. in a taxi cab.

When Candelario was at-large, Hartford police issued a warning about Candelario, urging police to use caution and warning he may be under the influence of the drug PCP.
