---- — NORTH ANDOVER — A car crashed into the Staples store Tuesday morning and broke a large plate glass window, police said.
While the crash occurred during business hours, there were no injuries, according to police Lt. Charles Gray. The crash was reported at 9:41 a.m.
The window of the 73 Turnpike St. store was boarded up with plywood after the crash. Aside from the broken window, there did not appear to be any structural damage to the building.
Gray said the crash is under investigation. He said he does not expect any charges to be filed.
“Thank God no one was hurt,” said store manager Michael King, who referred The Eagle-Tribune to the store’s corporate office. A message left with the Staples corporate office was not returned before press time.
