SALEM, N.H. — Auditions for the Merrimack Valley Has Talent Show, hosted by the Andover and North Andover Rotary Clubs, are March 14 and 28, at 1 p.m., at The Mall at Rockingham Park.
Tryouts will be in the atrium on the second floor.
Entrants must be high school-age or older.
Those younger than 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Physical or dangerous acts, and acts involving animals, are not allowed. Entry fee is $20.
The Merrimack Valley Has Talent Show is set for April 25 at the Claddagh Restaurant & Pub, 399 Canal St., Lawrence, from 1 to 3 p.m.
Tickets are $15. Prizes of $500, $100 and $50 will be awarded to the first-, second- and third-place finishers, respectively.

Andover selectmen meet tomorrow
ANDOVER — The selectmen's meeting Monday night was canceled due to the lack of a quorum.
It has been rescheduled for tomorrow night at 6 in the third-floor conference room at the Town Offices on Bartlett Street.
Selectmen will try to address many of the same items posted on the agenda for the regular Monday night meeting, however, at 7 p.m. the board is scheduled to meet with the Finance Committee.

METHUEN — Thinking about earning extra money by baby-sitting?
You should consider taking a training course like the one offered at the Methuen YMCA for students in grades six to nine.
The course aims to help teens become responsible baby sitters through hands-on training with a certified instructor.
Teens will learn basic care, accident prevention, proper emergency response, and basic first aid for common injuries and illnesses.
The course will be on March 13 and 20, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Upon completion, students receive certification in adult, infant and child CPR and a Babysitter's Handbook.

Work with disabled children recognized
ANDOVER — The Professional Center for Child Development is hosting its Swing Into Spring event, featuring silent and live auctions, dinner, awards ceremony and dancing on April 30.
The fun begins at 6 p.m. at Andover Country Club, 60 Canterbury Road. Matt Noyes, meteorologist for New England Cable News will be the master of ceremonies.
The center provides therapeutic and educational services for children with disabilities throughout northeastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.
It has locations at 32 Osgood St. in Andover and 130 Parker St. in Lawrence.
Receiving the Children First Awards will be Roxann Nickerson and Gene Landis. Nickerson is the center's first physical therapist, who is retiring after more than 30 years of service.
Landis, a pediatric nurse practitioner, is coordinator of the growth and nutrition program at Greater Lawrence Family Health Center. The Andover chapter of the Knights of Columbus will receive the Community Service Recognition.
