---- — NORTH ANDOVER — Gilbert Harb will no longer be selling ice cream in North Andover.
Harb, 49, of 125-B Lawrence St., Lawrence, who has had legal difficulties, had his vendor license suspended after he was seen urinating on his truck near Baldwin and Belmont streets on Sept. 19, according to Health Director Susan Sawyer.
Police officer Michael Gilligan issued Harb a summons, charging him with open and gross lewdness.
The incident was reported at 6:59 p.m. and happened in front of the North Andover School of Dance, according to the police log.
A month ago, the Board of Health gave Harb a second chance to sell ice cream in North Andover and allowed him to apply for a vendor’s license. Last year, the board denied letting Harb have a permit because he had been arrested and charged with trying to strangle his wife.
Attorney Thomas Torrisi, who represented Harb before the Board of Health last month, said at that time his client had attended required anger management classes and reconciled with his wife. His court case was continued without a finding, Torrisi said.
