The head of Missionary Air Group will discuss the role of humanitarian aviation Saturday at Lawrence Municipal Airport at 3 p.m.
Sean Donnelly, president of the Haverhill-based Missionary Air Group, will highlight the global impact being made by the New England aviation community. This multimedia presentation titled "Flying Between Life and Death — A Pilot's Perspective," is free of charge and the public is welcome.
Missionary Air Group delivers medical services to Honduras and trains pilots for relief organizations working in Africa and around the world.

Breakfast aids child abuse prevention
ANDOVER — The Michael B. Christensen Family Support Center, in partnership with Greater Lawrence Community Action Council, will host the 11th annual Child Abuse Prevention Month Kick-Off Breakfast on April 3.
The event will be at 7:30 a.m., at the Wyndham Andover hotel, 123 Old River Road.
The groups are looking to raise awareness and money for the prevention of child abuse and neglect.

Methuen man wins $1M in lottery
METHUEN — Andrew Erban is the 60th player to win $1 million on the Set for Life instant scratch game through the Massachusetts State Lottery.
Erban, who won this past fall, will get his prize money in the form of 20 annuity checks valued at $50,000 before taxes.
Erban purchased the ticket at S&K Food Mart on Swan Street in Methuen.
The store received a $10,000 commission because of the sale.
The Set For Life scratch game sells for $10 per ticket and has 66 instant prizes of $1 million.
