Yard sales galore in North Andover

NORTH ANDOVER — This weekend more than 60 homes in town will hold yard sales as part of an annual town-wide yard sale weekend.

Hosted by the town's Solid Waste Advisory Committee, the town posts the addresses of the participating homes on its Web site, www.townofnorthandover.com.

The hours the sellers will operate and the kinds of items they have to offer will be included on the site.

The point of the yard sale is to promote reuse of items over disposal.

This is the fourth year for the event.
