Winners have been named in The Eagle-Tribune's contest for tickets to see ventriloquist and stand-up comedian Jeff Dunham in Lowell this weekend.
Winner of the grand prize is Robert Hansen of Salem, N.H. He will receive four front-row seats to Dunham's show this Sunday at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell, with limousine service provided by Black Tie Limousine, plus dinner at Burtons Grill in North Andover and four autographed copies of one of Dunham's DVDs.
First-prize winner is Burt Batcheller of Methuen, who will receive four second-row seats to Dunham's show and two autographed DVD's.
Ten second-prize winners will each receive an autographed Dunham DVD. They are: Sandra Finnigan of Haverhill, Patt Champagne of Haverhill, Arlene Dalton of Lawrence, John Fuschi of Methuen, George Politis of Haverhill, Alex Mazzarese of Andover, Elizabeth Higgins of North Andover, Rosemarie Graham of Pelham, N.H., Debra Hollenbeck of Atkinson, N.H., and Terri Tuxbury of Newburyport.
Winning entries were picked in a random drawing yesterday from among more than 3,000 entries. Readers were asked to clip icons of five Dunham characters hidden in the pages of The Eagle-Tribune and paste them on an entry form.
There's still a chance to win tickets to the show. A pair of tickets will be awarded Friday to the winner of a separate online contest. Details are on the newspaper's home page at www.eagletribune.com.
