Arrest: Joselino Aiellow, 22, of 71 Salem St., #C, Lawrence; assault and battery on a police officer, disturbing the peace and three outstanding warrants, 2 a.m., 200 Bailey St.

Attempted burglary: 296 Ames St., screen door cut open but no entry gained to the home, reported 6:06 p.m.
Malicious damage: Star Realty, 300 Essex St., 4-by-8-foot plate glass window damaged, 2:10 a.m.
Arrest: David Soto, 17, of 5 West Dalton St., #1, Lawrence; driving without a license, Myrtle and Lawrence streets, 2:23 a.m.
