CONCORD, N.H. – Member of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force from both New Hampshire and Massachusetts arrested Alexander Lopez, 36 in Manchester Thursday.
Lopez whose last known address was in Lawrence, was being sought on multiple outstanding charges for his alleged involvement in a stabbing that occurred on March 7 in Lawrence.
Lopez allegedly stabbed a man in the chest late in the afternoon on March 7 on South Union Street. The victim remains in serious condition.
The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Massachusetts learned that Lopez knew that he was wanted and had fled to New Hampshire. Information was developed which led investigators to an apartment in the 40 block of Clinton Street in Manchester where Lopez was arrested without incident.
