LAWRENCE — Three short women broke into an Andover Street home and stole a laptop computer, digital camera and a pair of sneakers, a witness told police.
Jose Colon, of 167 Andover St., called police about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday to report the break.
Officer John Bernard spoke to a neighbor, who told him about about 2 p.m. she saw three small females check the back yard for the dog. One of them then made a phone call and another went into the house through a side window, and let the others in through the front door.
The neighbor said the three women then left the house carrying a bag.
The witness could not provide any other description of the three women, only that they were short, police said.
