Tomorrow the town will be memorializing Veterans Day with three brief ceremonies followed by a 1 p.m. luncheon at the Masonic Temple at 7 High St.
The ceremonies will be at West Parish Cemetery at 10 a.m., Spring Grove Cemetery at 11 a.m. and Ballardvale Green at noon.
At Ballardvale Green, the "Heroes Among Us Book - Book III", spotlighting living Andover veterans that served in the Pacific, will be presented to the veterans whose stories are included in the book.
The programs are scheduled to take place even if there is inclement weather. If there is moderate to heavy rain there will be one ceremony held at Elm Green at noon, followed by the indoor luncheon. For more information call the Veterans Office at 978-623-8318.
Students from a democracy class at Andover High School will honor local veterans at the high school's football game, which starts at 7 p.m. tomorrow. The class is working with an organization called "Heroes and Hounds," and will be seeking donations at the game. A table will be set up at near the concession stand with more information.
VFW Post 7366 will be joined by members of American Legion Post 248 as it conducts the annual observance of Veterans Day at 10:30 a.m. outside Town Hall. Accompanying music will be provided by the Pentucket Regional High School band. The Groveland police honor guard also will participate. In the event of rain, the observance will be held inside the fire station, which is next door to the Town Hall.
Parade steps off at 10:30 a.m. from VFW Post 29 at 64 Kenoza Ave. and proceeds to the Global Peace Monument at Ginty Boulevard and Main Street, in front of the public library. Ceremony there will start at 11 a.m.
LAWRENCE — The city will hold its public Veterans Day Ceremony tomorrow at the South Lawrence East School Auditorium, 165 Crawford St., at 10 a.m.
Jaime Luis Melendez Jr., the city's new Veterans Services director and a retired Army sergeant, will be the guest speaker. There will be performances by the Lawrence High School Girls Ensemble and the school's Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps.
Parade forms at 9:30 a.m. at American Legion Post 122, 200 Broadway. All veterans, reservists and National Guardsmen are welcome to be in the parade.
Parade steps off at 10 a.m. and proceeds to Walnut Grove Cemetery on Grove Street by heading north on Broadway to Gaunt Square, left on Hampshire Street, left on Lowell Street past Central Fire Station, left on Grove Street. After ceremonies at cemetery, the parade will reform and proceed back down Grove Street, left on Lowell Street, right on Barker Street-past Senior Citizen's Center, right on Pelham Street, left on Lowell Street passing Central Fire Station, right on Hampshire Street, right on Broadway and return to American Legion Post 122.
Fund raising raffle at V.F.W. Post 8349, 26 River St. at 1 p.m. for Eugene Voiland Memorial Flag program.
Veterans and active military members are invited to play a free nine-hole round of golf tomorrow at the Merrimack Valley Golf Club.

The annual Veterans Day parade steps off at 10:15 a.m. at the corner of First and Main streets and proceeds to Patriots Memorial Park for a ceremony which will include music from the North Andover High School Marching Band and the Clan MacPherson Bagpipe Band.
North Andover Veterans Agent Edgar Mitchell will host the ceremony. Introductory remarks are dedicated to the memory of World War II veteran Lucien R. Clermont, Past District Commander of the American Legion. He died in September.
Clermont's son Richard Clermont of North Andover and his daughter Jacqueline Marshall of Lawrence will be in attendance.
Cub Scout Pack 86 from the Sargent School will lead the Pledge of Allegiance.
Eagle Scout Chris Danielson of Central Catholic will deliver the main address.
Following the ceremony, veterans and their families are invited to the VFW Post 2104 on Park St.
