Starring fictional character Eugene Morris Jerome, a Polish-Jewish teenager portrayed by Junior Adam Brody of Andover, Simon recalls his daily life through Eugene’s narrative. As the central character living in a crowded, lower middle-class walk up, Eugene humorously walks the audience through his experiences and hardship with puberty, sexual awakening and a search for his identity. Eugene’s father, Stanley, is played by Hemang Kaul, Class of 2013, also of Andover.
