Two charged with impaired driving

NORTH ANDOVER — Two people were arrested and charged with impaired driving Friday.

A third motorist was charged with driving after her license was suspended for drunken driving Saturday night.

Patricia Roche, 55, of 376 Wood Lane, was stopped at 1:26 a.m. Friday on Waverly Road. Officer Michael Reardon arrested her and charged her with driving under the influence of liquor and a marked lanes violation.

Roche was released on her own recognizance.

Christopher Hennessy, 24, of 1160 Salem St., was stopped at 8:44 p.m. that day near 70 Main St. Officer Jason Wedge arrested Hennessy and charged him with driving under the influence of drugs and possession of a Class A drug.

Kathy Romano, 48, of 30 Sargent St., was arrested at 6:40 p.m. Saturday and charged with operating after her license was suspended for driving under the influence of liquor and driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle. Officer Jay Staude stopped Romano.
