HAVERHILL — The Haverhill Touchdown Club will hold its annual Thanksgiving Day Breakfast tomorrow from 7 to 9 a.m. at the Garibaldi Club, 86 Washington St.
There is no charge for club members. Guests pay a donation of $5. Proceeds support Haverhill High School athletics programs.
Cancer benefit comedy Friday
HAVERHILL — A comedy benefit fundraiser for 1993 Haverhill High graduate Mario Lucca, who is currently undergoing treatment for a rare form of cancer, is Friday at 9 p.m. at China Blossom’s Lots of Laughs Comedy Lounge, Route 125 in North Andover. The show will feature an hour of stand-up comedy by Haverhill’s own Chris “Jonesy” Jones, who graduated with Lucca. Jones is producing and performing the show. Trustee of trust funds needed in Salem
SALEM, N.H. — Selectmen are seeking candidates to serve as a member of the Trustees of the Trust Funds.
Anyone wishing to fill the vacancy until March 10, 2015, is asked to submit a letter of interest by 5 p.m. on Nov. 28. Trustees oversee town trust funds and capital reserve funds.
Selectmen are tentatively scheduled to interview candidates at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 3. Applicants will receive notification of the interview date.

Bring PJs to help local shelters
MIDDLETON — The Robert I. Lappin Charitable Foundation in partnership with Richardson’s Ice Cream of Middleton invite families of the PJ Library to help make our second New PJ Drive a success. New pajamas will be collected and distributed to local shelters. Children who donate a pair of new pajamas will receive a scoop of delicious Richardson’s ice cream of their choice, compliments of Richardson’s. Pajama collection will take place Dec.3, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at Richardson’s Ice Cream, 156 South Main St., Middleton. New pajamas of all sizes are needed.
