Realty agency collects 300 coats for needy

Coco, Early & Associates, the largest independent real estate agency in Southern New Hampshire and the Merrimack Valley, rallied its team of more than 180 agents and support staff and collected a record of more than 300 winter coats for the needy.

Boxes were placed in each office in Massachusetts (Dracut, Haverhill and Methuen), as well as those in New Hampshire (Epping, Hampstead, Plaistow, Salem and Windham).

“We couldn’t be more pleased,” Blaise Coco, broker and owner of the agency, said in a release. “We have an incredible team who always help us make a difference for the community. We reach out to our friends, family and clients and it just shows how together we can make a difference.”

This community-focused effort is one of many that Coco, Early & Associates participate in. To date, the agency has been a part of the Methuen and Haverhill holiday parades and Project Linus, and one of its biggest community efforts is just a few weeks away. Coco, Early is the sole sponsor of The Children’s Christmas party that takes place at Windham High School on Dec. 8. More than 700 people are expected. (Call 978-687-8484 to attend.)

“It’s just part of our company culture,” said Linda Early, broker and owner of the agency. “We know how important it is to give back.”

Local organizations that benefited from the Coco, Early & Associates’ coat drive are: The Lazarus House, The Wish Project of Lowell, St. Anne’s in Hampstead and Salem Caregivers.
