The event will feature crafts and activities by Little Sprouts, games, treats, a photo spot with a surprise costumed character, a family hayride by Kimball Farm and more. A special presentation by Team Magic will also take place featuring “The Greg and Axel Save Halloween Show!”

Doo-wop danceheld in Lawrence
LAWRENCE — Get out your poodle skirts and saddle shoes.
“It’s Saturday Night at the Hop,” a doo-wop dance, will take place Nov. 2 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Relief’s In, 1 Market St.
The party features Ralphie B. of R.B. Entertainment and Company with special guests the Senior-Tones, Tony Funches, former lead singer of Herb Reeds and the Platters and his daughter, Porscha.

Concert honors heroes on Nov. 9
METHUEN — A musical concert to honor fallen heroes and veterans will be held Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. at Duperry Hall, St. Theresa Church, 22 Plymouth St.
Performers are Al Gagnon, Ed Murphy, Hoppy Curran, Ed Hayes and Tom Everson.
Coffee and desserts will be serve and there will be a 50/50 raffle.
Donations accepted and proceeds will benefit the Passion play, “All...I Have Done for You” and the Lawrence Chapter of the Disabled American Veterans.
Classical and jazz concert Sunday
HAVERHILL —The Essex Chamber Music Players, in residence at Northern Essex Community College’s Haverhill campus, will launch its 2013-2014 concert season with a program of Third Stream Music which is a fusion between classical and jazz.
This concert will be on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Hartleb Technology Center on the college’s Haverhill campus, 100 Elliott St.
Tickets are $15 general admission, $10 for senior citizens and $5 for students.
