New bus service offered from Valley to NYC
C&J Bus Lines has opened a new location in Tewksbury to offer nonstop, executive-class transportation to New York City. The service aims to provide travelers a new option for convenient transportation to New York without having to go into Boston.
C&J will operate nonstop trips daily to New York City’s Port Authority from a new travel stop at the Holiday Inn Tewksbury-Andover at 4 Highwood Drive.
The service offers more comfort with modified seating for 30 passengers instead of the industry standard of 55 seats and includes free Wi-Fi, free bag checks, free parking in Tewksbury, complimentary snacks and beverages, as well as free video entertainment.
C&J will offer two daily, round trips to New York City on Sunday through Friday and one round trip Saturday. Departures are Monday through Friday at 7:20 a.m. and 1:20 p.m., Saturday at 7:20 and 10:50 a.m. and Sunday at 4:50 p.m.
For northbound trips from New York’s Port Authority, C&J will offer two daily, round trips Sunday through Friday and one round trip Saturday. Departures from New York City are Monday through Friday at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., Saturday at 8 a.m. and Sunday at noon and 4:30 p.m.
Tickets are $69.95, or $34.95 for children. Reservations are required.
