Trespasser thrown out of 99 Restaurant

---- — NORTH ANDOVER — A man accused of offering to sell drugs to an employee at the Ninety Nine Restaurant and Pub on Saturday night was ordered to leave the establishment.

Police received a call at 9 p.m. from the 267 Chickering Road restaurant complaining that a customer sitting at the bar had made the offer to a worker. Detective Daniel Cronin and Officer Jason Wedge interviewed the customer and determined the accusation was unfounded, according to Lt. Charles Gray, spokesman for the North Andover Police Department.

The man, however, was declared a trespasser and asked to leave the restaurant, according to the police log.
