LAWRENCE — Fourteen city of Lawrence department directors and managers have received certificates from the Cambridge Municipal Leadership Institute.
“I applaud Lawrence campus Director Joseph Miglio, Professor Joel Saren and Personnel Director Frank Bonet for putting together a series of tailored courses for obtaining valuable and needed skills for our employees,” Mayor Daniel Rivera said in a statement.
“These are skills that are prized for our efforts to improve the service and support we give to our customers, the city residents. Our residents deserve the best, and the graduates of this leadership institute are now better prepared to make Lawrence better,” Rivera said.
Cambridge College has a satellite facility in Lawrence. It designed eight, half-day customized and focused workshops on effective and efficient management practices for the city employees.
