Tower Hill Neighborhood Assoc. meets tonight

LAWRENCE — The Tower Hill Neighborhood Association will be hosting its monthly meeting tonight beginning at 6 p.m. at the OLGC Parish, Judson Hall, 526 Lowell St.

Sandwiches, drinks and pastry are offered. In attendance will be representatives from the Police Department, Fire Department, City Councilors and elected State officials. Special guest speaker will be DPW Director John Isensee.

The THNA is a non-profit organization made up of home owners, neighbors and businesses who work together with city officials to improve the quality of life in Lawrence.

Robert Ingala to be honored

LAWRENCE — Each year, at the annual Evening of Sharing and Caring, Mary Immaculate Health/Care Services (MIHCS) presents the St. Marguerite d’Youville Pilgrimage of Love Award to honor a person who gives more to the community than he or she receives. The award is named for the founder of the Grey Nuns, St. Marguerite d’Youville.

At this year’s gala, Robert J. Ingala, President and CEO of the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center, will be honored in recognition of his exceptional community leadership and service. Ingala’s long and distinguished health care career spans over 35 years. He has held various positions including Vice President at Franciscan Children’s Hospital in Boston; CEO of Hale Hospital in Haverhill; to his current position as President/CEO of the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center.
