---- — NORTH ANDOVER — A 13-year-old local girl who took her mother’s car Tuesday was arrested after the vehicle crashed in Nashua, N.H., according to the police log.
The mother called police at 10:26 p.m. Tuesday to report that her car was missing. Since her daughter was not home, she surmised that the daughter had taken the car, according to the log.
North Andover police reported the car was stolen and that the daughter was missing. Later in the evening, police canceled those reports after Nashua authorities informed them of the crash.
Lt. Charles Gray, spokesman for the North Andover police, said he had no more information about the incident. Nashua police did not return a phone call.
