“The Lawrence Family Medicine Residency is on the front line of addressing the shortage of primary care physicians in the region,” said Dr. Joseph W. Gravel, Jr., Chief Medical Officer and Residency Director for the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center and Lawrence Family Medicine Residency. “This second year of support through the Department of Health and Human Services coincides with expanding our program from eight resident physicians per year to 10. With this growth, LFMR can carry on our mission of creating an environment where physicians are dedicated to the field of family medicine, especially in underserved communities.”
