METHUEN — The four Republicans vying to unseat U.S. Rep. Niki Tsongas have agreed to a debate Aug. 30 at Mann Orchards, 27 Pleasant Valley St.
The four running are Jon Golnik of Carlisle, Sam Meas of Haverhill, Bob Shapiro of Andover and Tom Weaver of Westford.
The debate will be broken into two parts: 30 minutes of questions from The Eagle-Tribune and Politically Active panelists and 30 minutes of questions from the audience.
The debate is sponsored by The Eagle-Tribune, WCCM 1110 AM, Methuen Community Television and Politically Active Broadcasting.
The debate will air live at eagletribune.com Aug. 30 at 7 p.m. and will be rebroadcast Aug. 31 on WCCM beginning at 10 a.m. MCTV also will air the debate at a later date.
The event is open to the public.
