After several snow-related delays, The Falls at Gunstock Road in Plaistow, N.H., has officially broken ground on spring construction. Set to be a gorgeous and peaceful 55+ active-adult community, the lot for the model home has been excavated and the foundation will be poured in the coming days.
“We’ve been held up on the construction of the model home, but we’ve gotten the space for the foundation ready,” says Ron Brown, owner and developer of The Falls at Gunstock Road.
The development will consist of 40 custom, luxury, single detached homes, featuring architectural details and superior craftsmanship. Each home can be personalized; from the granite countertops to the custom cabinets, buyers can pick the colors, materials, and designs.
The living space of each home will range from 1,250 to 1,800 square feet, and each unit will offer two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and two-car garages. With a mix of contemporary and craftsman aesthetics, the exterior color of the homes will be customizable, too.
“Buyers will have the ability to customize all aspects of their home,” notes Brown. “It’s something different from other developments in the area.”
The 50-plus acres of land that The Falls at Gunstock Road is situated on, directly off of Sweet Hill Road, provides a tranquil and serene setting for future residents. Breathtaking views are the first thing visitors will notice as they enter the neighborhood — and on a clear day you can see the distant outline of the New Hampshire mountains.
The community will consist of the main road and three cul-de-sacs: Blueberry Road, Raspberry Road, and Strawberry Road. Each will feature its namesake fruit growing amidst the homes, adding a unique and tasty twist.
Additionally, there will be a clubhouse within the development, complete with luxurious amenities and a swimming pool. There will also be one-and-a-half miles of walking trails and two lovely waterfalls on the property.
