NORTH ANDOVER — Police Lt. Charles Gray has a message for North Andover residents: Do not leave valuables in your vehicle, and make sure your car doors are locked.
Police are investigating several incidents of items stolen from cars during the weekend. Thieves were able to enter the vehicles because they were unlocked, Gray said.

Other car breaks were reported at 10:42 a.m. at 374 Chestnut St. and at 12:59 p.m. at 323 Chestnut St., both on Saturday. In both instances, personal belongings were disturbed, but no items were reported missing.
