The stories about families looking to the Santa Fund are nearly without exception the stories of parents trying to make Christmas a happier time for their children.
Kayla is a case in point: She has two little girls, Samantha and Kate.
Samantha is 7 and Kate is 5.
This little family was homeless and living in a shelter. Now a support group has at least able to move them to a hotel.
Kayla is turning to the Santa Fund for a little assistance. She isn’t asking for much — just some new clothes for her daughters.
Samantha wears a size 8 and Kate is a size 6.
It’s a modest hope, but it will make a world of difference for this family of three in the Merrimack Valley.
