Driveby shooter targets home

Bullet goes through window, lodges in wall, of children's room in multifamily house

Another tenant said he was awakened at the time of the shooting and “heard the sound of glass breaking and possibly gun fire.” The man said he checked his son to make “sure he was breathing” and then his car for damage. He didn’t immediately find anything disturbed so he went to bed.

Later, when his landlord asked if he could inspect the home for damage, he discovered two windows were shot out in a children’s play room and his son’s bedroom. One bullet was lodged in a closet door and another found on the floor, police said. Again, the man told police no one would be after him or anyone in his family.
