HAVERHILL — Northern Essex Community College Professor Marcy Yeager has traveled to far-flung locations around the globe, and this month she will share her travel trips during a free presentation at the public library.
Yeager, coordinator of NECC’s International Studies Program, believes that everyone can afford to travel. She will share tips on how to see the most while spending the least during a presentation titled “International Travel: Jet Setting 101: You can see the world on a budget!” Her talk is on Thursday, Aug. 22 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the public library, 99 Main St.

Methuen Memorial Music Hall to hold concert
METHUEN —Organist Yun Kyong Kim will perform at the Methuen Memorial Music Hall on Wednesday, Aug. 21, at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
Her program will feature works by Louis Vierne, William Grant Still, Johannes Brahms, Iain Farrington, Sergei Prokofiev and Robert Ampt.
Kim currently serves on the faculty at Sinclair Community College and as Organist and Choirmaster at Christ Episcopal Church in Dayton, Ohio. Her latest MSR Classics compact disc, “Of Another Time” received a four star rating from “Audiophile Audition” and was named “Recording of the Month” by MusicWeb International.
The Methuen Memorial Music Hall is located at 192 Broadway (Route 28), Methuen. Admission is $12 for adults and $5 for children. Free off-street parking is available. The building is handicap accessible, but please use the rear entrance.
