NORTH ANDOVER — It's Restaurant Week in North Andover as 13 area restaurants are offering deals to consumers.
"It's a great great thing to try and get people to realize that North Andover has become a restaurant town," said Terry Holland, owner of Stachey's Olde Time Pizza.
The week is a collaboration between the North Andover Merchants Association and the North Andover Economic Development Council. It started yesterday and continues through Thursday.
Among the 13 restaurants are Brigham's, Orzo Trattoria, China Blossom, Jaime's and the Good Day Cafe.
Stachey's, at 9 High St. in the East Mill complex, will offer a large pizza, a salad, two drinks (soda, wine, or beer) for $12.99. Holland said the deal is a meal for two people.
Holland, a North Andover resident, said he's happy to see North Andover promoting the restaurants and getting on the map for its dining. The Restaurant Week had support from the Board of Selectmen and the Community Development department.
"It was a great surprise that these guys were actually concerned about promoting our businesses," Holland said.
The Restaurant Week deals are available on the town's website, under the Community Development department.
