LAWRENCE - Two people are dead and two more injured following an early morning shooting in the La Guira restaurant and club on Broadway.

Police confirmed one man is dead, a man and woman are in critical condition in Boston hospitals, and one woman is in stable condition at Lawrence General Hospital. Police have not released the identities of any of the victims.

Outside La Guira this morning, family members of Amarilis Roldan, 24, of Dorchester said she has died as a result of the shooting. The victim's aunt and uncle said Roldan was at the restaurant with her sister and cousin when she was shot. They said she is the mother of two young children. The aunt and uncle came to the club to pick-up their niece's car.

Police Chief John Romero said his department has not told Roldan is dead. He said officers have been told she is in grave condition with life-threatening injuries.

Two men were arrested and charged with first-degree murder following a chase into Lowell. Police have identified the men as Johan Saint Clair, 30, and Fernando Guerrero, 27, both of Lawrence. Police said Guerrero also uses the last name Lara.

According to police, LaGuira was jammed with people when shots rang out about 12:45 a.m. Witnesses told police they saw one gun. One man was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others were taken to Lawrence General Hospital and taken by helicopter to Boston hospital. A waitress who had been shot had been driven by someone else to Lawrence General Hospital before police arrived.

Arriving officers on the scene described it as chaotic with people running from the club as they arrived.
