LAWRENCE — When Luis Caceres, 21, of 18 Beacon St., returned home Tuesday night, he discovered he was the victim of a burglary.
Caceres told Officer Michael Navaria that a 20-inch Panasonic flat-screen television, a Toshiba laptop computer, and a small black safe containing $200 were missing.
He told police the front door to his apartment was damaged by the intruder.
A witness told police he saw two men on the front stairs with items in a pillowcase and sheets, about 9:15 p.m.
The witness told Navaria he had told his mother about seeing the two men, both of whom appeared to be in their late teens, but she didn't want to get involved.
