Have breakfast with Santa
KINGSTON — It’s time for DJ Bakie School’s Annual Santa’s Breakfast on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 8 to 11 a.m. at Sanborn Regional High School.
Live entertainment performed by the Bakie Chorus, pictures with Santa and friends, raffle baskets, and a home-cooked, hearty breakfast including pancakes, sausage and a choice of milk, hot cocoa or coffee.

Library hosts family matinee
HAMPSTEAD — On Saturday, Dec. 14, at noon, Hampstead Public Library will have a free family matinee, and you can help choose the movie.
Would you like to see the Muppet version of Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol,” the animated adaptation of Chris Van Allsburg’s “The Polar Express,” or the new Disney animated feature about airplanes? You can cast your vote when you visit the library or by emailing email@example.com. The library will provide some refreshments, but you are welcome to bring your own lunch or snack.
Attendees will be entered to win a gift card for a local movie theater.
Youth services tree lot open for season
ANDOVER — It’s one-stop shopping for holiday decorations as the popular Christmas tree lot run entirely by volunteers of Andover Youth Services now open behind West Middle School at 80 Shawsheen Road.
The freshly cut balsam firs from New Brunswick and Fraser firs from North Carolina will range in size from 4 to 15 feet or more. In addition, decorated and undecorated wreaths, kissing balls, garland and custom centerpieces will be for sale. Prices were not set as of press time.
Tree lot hours are 3 to 8:30 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends through Dec. 22 or until the inventory sells out.
