METHUEN — A Lawrence man escaped serious injury when he rolled over his sport utility vehicle Friday on Route 213 during a late-morning downpour.
State police from the Andover barracks said Felix Colon, 37, of 28 Arlington St., was traveling east on Route 213 toward Interstate 495 when he lost control of his gray 2006 Chevy TrailBlazer.
The SUV rolled over on the highway near the Howe Street exit. Colon, who suffered only minor injuries, was not cited and was taken to Lawrence General Hospital as a precaution, police said.
The accident was reported to state police at about 10:25 a.m. The Methuen Fire Department also responded. The SUV was towed from the accident scene, police said.
