LAWRENCE — Help the Merrimack Valley YMCA today, and you could be at Fenway Park on New Year's Day for the Winter Classic.
The YMCA is raffling a pair of tickets to the Boston Bruins vs. Philadelphia Flyers game, and that's not all.
The prize includes dinner with Bruins star Milan Lucic and a one-night stay at the Liberty Hotel in Boston.
Tickets are $2 each (minimum purchase of 5 tickets). The raffle closes on Wednesday, Dec. 23, at 11 a.m.
To purchase raffle tickets, visit the Y's Web site at www.mvymca.org and click on the Winter Classic link under the "highlights" section.
Proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Y's Reach Out for Youth & Families campaign and Celebrities for Charity Foundation, the group conducting the raffle.

Time to request Christmas help
LAWRENCE — Families in need of assistance this Christmas may request help through the Greater Lawrence Community Action Council for the Marine's Toys for Tots program.
Starting Monday, parents should to apply for the program, which provide presents for low-income children.
Registration is at the GLCAC office, 305 Essex St., weekedays from 9:30 to noon and 1:30 to 4 p.m. On Dec. 1 and 3, registration will be taken until 5:45 p.m.
Parents have until Dec. 4 to apply. To sign up, bring a picture identification, health insurance card for each child, proof of address, proof of low-income (i.e., WIC, LIHEAP, Low-income Housing, Food Stamps, Head Start, AFDC, etc.)
Road race fundraiser helps area groups
ANDOVER — The 23rd annual Bobby Bell 5-Mile Road Race was a success, raising money for seven area groups, including $1,360 for the Andover Striders Running Club.
The road race drew 312 runners to Haverhill on Oct. 11. Also receiving money were: Sapienza Scholarship Fund, $4,000; Joyce Moriarty Scholarship Fund, $1,388; Haverhill Brightside Inc., $400; Haverhill Police Auxiliary Force, $200; Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, $125; and Michael Walukevich Scholarship Fund, $100.
The race was hosted by The Lasting Room Grill. Top financial sponsors were: Rice Brouillard Electric, Merrimack Valley Hospital, Magellan Aerospace Corp. and Trinity EMS.
