The Methuen and Lawrence Health Departments will have a H1N1 vaccination clinic Friday, 4 to 7 p.m., at the Parthum School, 255 E. Haverhill St., Lawrence.
The vaccine will be givent to pregnant women and their spouses or partners and household contacts, as well as, caregivers of infants, ages six months and younger, who are 4 years old or older.
People are asked not to show up before 3:30 p.m. because school will be in session.

Parking ban is on in Andover
ANDOVER — Beginning today, vehicles parked overnight on roadways and in public lots will be subject to a parking violation.
The town's winter overnight parking ban runs from Dec. 1 through March 31.
Motor vehicles parked for longer than one hour on roadways and in public lots between 1 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. will be subject to a parking violation.
Vehicles interfering with snow and ice removal operations, regardless of the time of day, may also be towed at the owner's expense.
St. Nick to pose for pictures on Saturday
METHUEN — Have breakfast with Santa on Saturday during the Holiday Fair at the Methuen YMCA, 129 Haverhill St.
The fair, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., will feature more than 20 vendors with unique gifts and crafts. Admission to the fair is free.
Breakfast is $5, and runs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Santa will pose for photos, and there will be arts and crafts for the children. Details, call 978-683-5266.
Free diabetes screening
METHEUN — Caritas Holy Family Hospital will hold a free diabetes screening Dec. 8, 4 to 7 p.m., at the Methuen YMCA, 129 Haverhill St. A Spanish interpreter will be available.
Those who test positive for diabetes, pre-diabetes or borderline for diabetes will be urged to attend free lectures at the Methuen YMCA in January, at a date and time to be announced.

Scouts seek out leaders who inspired
On Feb. 9, Boy Scouts of America will celebrate 100 years nationwide. To commemorate the day, the National Hall of Leadership is looking to recognize the scout who have helping others to become better adults and citizens.
Scouts of all ages, present and past, are encouraged to visit www.scouting.org/100years and nominate a scout leader, volunteer, or scout that has shown exemplary behavior that reflects the scout virtues of character, achievement, leadership, and citizenship.
A committee will select those who have shown exemplary service and commitment and honor them during the 100 year celebration beginning in 2010.
