---- — SEABROOK — Alcohol and excessive speed were listed as factors in Saturday morning’s fatal car crash that killed a Hampton Falls man and his female passenger.
Colin Ross, 23, and Stacy Walsh, 22, of West Newbury, were pronounced dead after their car slammed into two different objects at high speed on Causeway Street.
New Hampshire State Police said Ross was driving a 2002 Honda Accord headed north about 4:30 a.m. Saturday when he lost control of the car and hit a parked vehicle and a utility pole, causing extensive damage to the car. Walsh was a passenger in the front seat.
Police said “unreasonable speed” and alcohol were factors in the crash, but an investigation is continuing.
Police asked that anyone who saw the car before the crash or has other information contact Trooper Anthony Cattabriga at 603-223-8490 or Anthony.Cattabriga@dos.nh.gov.
Causeway Street is east of Route 1, running between Farm Lane and Walton Road.
Assisting at the crash scene were members of the Seabrook Police Department and Seabrook Fire and Rescue.
